Our seniors are starting to plan their Senior Projects, an
important component of the Sidwell experience and a graduation requirement.
Many of the seniors will chose to pursue an internship opportunity for the four-week-long
period from May 2 – June 3. I ask for your help in opening the door to these
students. If an organization to which you belong offers internships for high
school students and you are interested in sponsoring a Sidwell senior, please
let me know as soon as possible.
During the Senior Project period, students are available for
six hours a day, 30 hours a week. The student interns may not receive payment
for the work they do during this period, and they must remain in the metro
area.
I hope you will think about supporting a Sidwell Friends
senior intern. Please call or email if you have any questions.>
