Dear Lisa & Phil,
Thanks for a wonderful season - and for the years of coaching & working wit
h the girls. It has been a real pleasure to see them come together as a te
am, and develop & grow as players and individuals.
And, while I certainly like the sound of "champions", I like the sound of "
repeat champions" even more!
Congratulations - and a big thank you again.
Best,

Dear Parents of Vipers,
Hats off to the unstoppable Viper girls, who dug down deep to win 4 game
s this weekend, and once again take the MCRD 6th grade girls tournament tit
le! The success of the tournament, and the season as well, were not only te
staments to the spirit and positive energy of every single girl on the Vipe
r team and their skill development, but also to how well they played togeth
er as teammates. Please remind the girls that regardless of how much time
they spent playing in the very final game, this was truly a team effort ?
?? and they achieved what they did because every single one of them con
tributed to winning the division and tournament titles –they really
jelled so well as a team. I didn't tell this next fact to the girls befor
e the game, but the Blaze team had won their 7th grade division title. Thi
s bodes very well for our girls moving on to play with the Sidwell teams ne
xt year.
I promise to pass on any photos that I receive of the girls, and would
love it if people could forward some of the pictures they took yesterday.
Also, attached to the bottom of this email is an announcement from Sheridan
Price. He is very skilled and has a wonderful style with the girls. He is
running drop-in "Skills and Scrimmage" clinics that would be very worthwhi
le – one of his instructors, Janee Hayes, was an all-star student-a
thlete in basketball and volleyball at Sidwell.
It was a true privilege for Phil and me to be able to coach this team f
or the past 4 years (and many players since first grade!). To be able to h
ave this birds-eye view of watching them develop not only as athletes, but
into the wonderful individuals they all are, has been something very precio
us, that we will keep as treasured memories. Plus, I could not have asked
for a better group of enthusiastic parent, sibling and grandparent fans che
ering us on at every game!
I will very much miss coaching the girls, but I look forward to cheering t
hem on from the stands as they continue to blossom in all their future ende
avors.
Go Vipers!!

Lisa,
Thank you so much for everything. The girls really worked hard all season a
nd really earned this. I am glad that I could help. Thank you for giving
me an opportunity. One of the things I wanted to share with you was that w
e will be having workouts throughout the spring/summer and fall. A number
of the other girls throughout the league will be coming and I think it will
be a great way for your girls to stay in condition and to stay in tune wit
h the game of basketball. I listed the information below and if you could
let the parents know that all I would need from them is notification of whe
ther or not their daughter can attend ahead of time so I know how many will
be present. A couple of the parents asked about the spring and I told the
m you would send this to them. Thank you so much and I will talk to you so
on!
Congratulations,
Sheridan

Lisa,
Thank you so much for everything.
Thank you so much and I will talk to you so
on!
Congratulations,
Sheridan

Thank you Lisa and Phil-
THANKS TO ALL of our car pool organizers, snack parents, t-shirt washers, earring holders, photographers, water carriers, first aid administrators, party planners, siblings, grand parents, aunts, uncles neighbors, teachers and random rowdy VIPER fans!
ALL of the girls have come so far and I think their collective drive, effort and stick to it attitude will serve them well off the court as well! Winning was indeed the bonus.
GIRL POWER!

Dear Lisa & Phil,
Thanks for a wonderful season - and for the years of coaching & working with the girls. It has been a real pleasure to see them come together as a team, and develop & grow as players and individuals.
And, while I certainly like the sound of "champions", I like the sound of "repeat champions" even more!
Congratulations - and a big thank you again.
Best,
Ajay

Subject: Viper Basketball
Dear Parents of Vipers,
Hats off to the unstoppable Viper girls, who dug down deep to win 4 games this weekend, and once again take the MCRD 6th grade girls tournament title! The success of the tournament, and the season as well, were not only testaments to the spirit and positive energy of every single girl on the Viper team and their skill development, but also to how well they played together as teammates. Please remind the girls that regardless of how much time they spent playing in the very final game, this was truly a team effort – and they achieved what they did because every single one of them contributed to winning the division and tournament titles –they really jelled so well as a team. I didn't tell this next fact to the girls before the game, but the Blaze team had won their 7th grade division title. This bodes very well for our girls moving on to play with the Sidwell teams next year.>
I promise to pass on any photos that I receive of the girls, and would love it if people could forward some of the pictures they took yesterday. Also, attached to the bottom of this email is an announcement from Sheridan Price. He is very skilled and has a wonderful style with the girls. He is running drop-in "Skills and Scrimmage" clinics that would be very worthwhile – one of his instructors, Janee Hayes, was an all-star student-athlete in basketball and volleyball at Sidwell.
It was a true privilege for Phil and me to be able to coach this team for the past 4 years (and many players since first grade!). To be able to have this birds-eye view of watching them develop not only as athletes, but into the wonderful individuals they all are, has been something very precious, that we will keep as treasured memories. Plus, I could not have asked for a better group of enthusiastic parent, sibling and grandparent fans cheering us on at every game!
I will very much miss coaching the girls, but I look forward to cheering them on from the stands as they continue to blossom in all their future endeavors.
Go Vipers!!
Lisa
