-If you decide to bring your own mallet please mark personalize it with tap

-Booze and mixers: There will be beer, soda and water on the course (a
nd some food). Wine will be served afterwards with dinner. If you want anyt
hing other than these beverages please bring everything with you. Ther
e will be cups.
Teams:
-Please try to RSVP as a confirmed two person team.
-Everyone will be teamed up and assigned to a foursome or sixsome. Sor
ry if I can't accomodate requests but I will try. I will update you on
foursomes/sixsomes when you arrive.
-Please ask if you would like to be assigned a partner or bring a guest.?

-Space is limited.
Format:
- Meet on the hilltop at 2:30pm for group photo and to review rul
es and get hole assignment.
-Better ball partners: Both players play their own ball. The best of the 2
scores goes on the card.
-Shotgun start
-3 Holes practice
- 2nd Shotgun start ( Please wait to hear 2nd shotgun start to be
gin official play )
-18 Holes of competetive play.
-Please turn in your score relative to par (ex: Terrell/Tondrys -9...all ho
les are par 3)
-Go to the hilltop to turn in your score card and head to the?
?newly designed Championship tee (hilltop all the way down the hill (150
yards).
FINALS FORMAT: (new 150 yard finals hole....downhill)
-The eight best scoring teams advance to the finals. If ties take the
number of teams advancing to over 12 the highest scoring group of tied team
s is eliminated (Ex: If seven teams are -7, seven are -8, five are?
?-9 and one is -10 none of the -7 teams or -8 teams
advance. (just 6 teams advance).
-Better ball partners sudden death.
-Three of the teams will tee off 1st and putt out and then the remaini
ng teams tee off and putt out in groups of 4-6 (so too many balls don'
t clutter the hole).
- Only the lowest scores advance to play the same hole again . ex: If seven
teams get birdies they all advance to the second round. If someone gets a
hole in one and no one else can match it we have a winner.
-Sudden death on Championship hole until a winner is determined.
TIMING: I'm guessing we will be done no later than 6:00pm. Spouses and gues
ts invited for bonfire and Joe's Spuds Food Truck arriving at 5:30pm.

RULES:
-All holes are par 3.
-If a ball hits another player's ball you must play the ball
from where it lies but the other player can move their ball back to w
here they were when hit (roughly). You may mark your ball or ask players to
mark.
-You must putt out if you are within a mallet length of the flag-pin.
-Lost ball is a 1 stroke penalty and you must go back to the tee.
-If your ball goes out of bounds (under a bush, in poison ivy, in the
thick grass) you can play the ball or take a 1 stroke penalty and?
?take a drop no closer to the hole from where it went OB.
-Throwing a ball or a mallet is a one stroke penalty.
-There is no penalty for hitting a tree, utility box or anything on the cou
rse.
-On #18 if your ball goes over the edge of the hill you must go to the
drop area. Even what appears to be a playable shot cannot be hit once the
ball rolls off the flat "green" area onto the bank/hillside. In b
ushes or under the holly tree are playable or you can take a 1 st
roke penalty and go back to the drop area. Down the groundhog hole is a one
stroke penalty and go back to drop area.
-All scores must be marked clearly on your scorecard, totaled and
signed before turning in. Please turn in your card with the score marked r
elative to par. (Example: Team Hershey: 11 under par or -11)
-Please don't strike anything other than a ball with your mallet. The heads
are tough but ding up easily. Take a mandatory relief of 1 club head to av
oid hitting anythingthat might damage the mallet.
-Players are welcome to bring golf carts again but please be safe.
