All,

I hope everyone made it home safely from this afternoon's games. I must say
that I was pretty exhausted by the time we made it home, and I am sure the
girls were even more exhausted.

After a little nap, I had the chance to reflect on the games, and I know al
l of the coaches agree, we made some very important strides as a team. We a
lso, got a reminder of the need for continued improvement with our mental f
ocus and conditioning as well.

All in all, we saw some very good plays from each of the girls in all 3 gam
es. I believe they are grasping the concepts that we are teaching and will
continue to improve as we play more games.

I was very proud of our girls with the way they bounced back and competed a
gainst the Matrix team in the back to back games. That showed some resilenc
y, toughness (mentally and physically), and a competitive spirit that is ve
ry contagious. I loved that!

I will let everyone know about the finalize schedule for this week. I am tr
ying to get two additional scrimmages this week to continue to practice aga
inst live competition, which is very important for the timing of plays and
for the girls to continue to gain a level of comfort with each other and th
e coaches.

I want to continue to stress the importance of practice attendance as we ge
t closer to the DQTs in mid-May, the more they attend, the more we improve.
Please encourage the girls to go out to the www.athleon.com<http://www.ath
leon.com> website to review our plays, as we still have quite a bit of conf
usion with those at times.

Once again, great job by the girls today, and an even better job by the par
ents for getting the girls to the games on this Easter Saturday!

All,

I apologize for the delay in getting you the rest of the schedule. Unfortun
ately, we're at the mercy of the tournament organizers.

As of right now, I only have two of our three game times. Looks like we'll
have a longer day than anticipated. 1st game is at 9am, our 2nd game is TBD
, and our 3rd game is at 3:15pm.

The 2nd game is supposed to bw between the 9am/3:15p games. With the cancel
lation of other tournaments, the Cardinal organization had an influx of tea
ms enter there tournament which has caused the scheduling delay.

If I find out anything more tonight, I will forward it along.

I hope everyone has a great night, and I'm looking forward to seeing all of
you tomorrow.
