All,

I hope everyone made it home safely from this afternoon's gam
es. I must say that I was pretty exhausted by the time we made it hom
e, and I am sure the girls were even more exhausted.

After a little n
ap, I had the chance to reflect on the games, and I know all of t
he coaches agree, we made some very important strides as a team. We also, g
ot a reminder of the need for continued improvement with our mental foc
us and conditioning as well.

All in all, we saw some very good play
s from each of the girls in all 3 games. I believe they are grasping the
concepts that we are teaching and will continue to improve as we play more
games.

I was very proud of our girls with the way they bounced back a
nd competed against the Matrix team in the back to back games. That showed
some resilency, toughness (mentally and physically), and a competitive spir
it that is very contagious. I loved that!

I will let everyone know ab
out the finalize schedule for this week. I am trying to get two additiona
l scrimmages this week to continue to practice against live competition,
which is very important for the timing of plays and for the girls to contin
ue to gain a level of comfort with each other and the coaches.

I wan
t to continue to stress the importance of practice attendance as we get clo
ser to the DQTs in mid-May, the more they attend, the more we improve. Plea
se encourage the girls to go out to the www.athleon.com website to revi
ew our plays, as we still have quite a bit of confusion with those at times
.

Once again, great job by the girls today, and an even better job by
the parents for getting the girls to the games on this Easter Saturday!

All,

I apologize for the delay in getting yo
u the rest of the schedule. Unfortunately, we're at the mercy of the tourna
ment organizers.

As of right now, I only have two of our three game t
imes. Looks like we'll have a longer day than anticipated. 1st game is at 9
am, our 2nd game is TBD, and our 3rd game is at 3:15pm.

The 2nd game
is supposed to bw between the 9am/3:15p games. With the cancellation of oth
er tournaments, the Cardinal organization had an influx of teams enter ther
e tournament which has caused the scheduling delay.

If I find out any
thing more tonight, I will forward it along.
