Hi Hunter,
Thanks for the note. I hope and trust all is well for you family as we near
the holidays. Mine expanded this summer - another boy born in July. All th
ree and their mother are doing well.
I'm happy to hear that the relationship between WW & EnGage is strong and b
eneficial to both. As it turns out, this connection came about from friend
and colleague of mine who lives in Princeton is good friends with folks at
WW. They then asked him for advice on pursuing such activities in DC. My fr
iend asked me & that's how the connection made. Accordingly, this morning I
shared your strong recommendation for Lisa w/ him. He promised to send an
email to WW today & also to speak with them in person about her this weeken
d at a WW event he is attending. Lisa's seems perfectly suited for this rol
e, as her experience is on-target, and she has worked for terrific people!
Greg, my colleague/friend, said he'd fill me in on the content of his discu
ssion on this matter & I'll of course pass that along to you.
It'd be great to catch up sometime in person, perhaps we can arrange it bet
ween or after the holidays.
-Chuck

Chuck-
How are you? Hope all is well with you and the family.
I wanted to thank you again for thinking of us on the referral of the Woodr
ow Wilson Foundation. I know the folks at EnGage are happy representing th
em. In fact, it seems that the folks at Woodrow Wilson are looking to hire
someone in house to do government affairs for them and via EnGage, I sugge
sted they hire Lisa Borin who is a close friend but more importantly worked
for my father for a number of years as an LA focused on education and appr
opriations. She went to work at the White House at the beginning of the Ob
ama Administration and has now returned to Delaware and is looking for a jo
b in the Philadelphia area. I understand that Lisa has interviewed for the
job and is really interested in it but they may have a few other candidate
s as well.
I don't remember your exact relationship with the Woodrow Wilson folks, but
if you are still close to some of the people there and can put in a good w
ord for Lisa I would really appreciate it. She is not only a friend, but
has a better understanding of education policy and the federal grant proces
s than most people I know.
Let me know if you think you know the right person to talk to. Again, I ap
preciate it.
Hope to see you soon - it has been too long.
Best,
Hunter
